Parisarpaṇa (परिसर्पण).—

1) Walking or creeping about; युधिष्ठिरस्तत् परिसर्पणं बुधः पुरे च राष्ट्रे च गृहे तदात्मनि (yudhiṣṭhirastat parisarpaṇaṃ budhaḥ pure ca rāṣṭre ca gṛhe tadātmani).

2) Running to and fro, flying about, constantly moving; पतगपतेः परिसर्पणे च तुल्यः (patagapateḥ parisarpaṇe ca tulyaḥ) Mṛcchakaṭika 3.21.
