1. Opening made in a wall, used as entrance; இடித்து உண்டாக்கின வாசல். கண்டவெயின் முரி வாயாற் கொண்டு புக்கான் [idithu undakkina vasal. kandaveyin muri vayar kondu pukkan] (திருவாலவாயுடையார் திருவிளையாடற் [thiruvalavayudaiyar thiruvilaiyadar] 24, 4).
