Mahānikkhavaṭṭivāpi or Mahānikkhavaṭṭi is the name of an ancient tank that existed near the ancient kingdom of Anurādhapura, Ceylon (Sri Lanka).—Mahānikkhavaṭṭi tank, also called Mahānikkhaviṭṭi, Mānākaṭi (Mānākāṭi) and Mānikavaṭi (Mānikavāṭi), was built by Vasabha (67-111), and is present Mānankaṭṭiya (Mānankāṭṭiya), near the 12th mile on the Eastern Minor Road.
