Mahābalasamanvita (महाबलसमन्वित) refers to “being equipped with a vast army”, according to the Śivapurāṇa 2.5.16 (“The battle of the gods”).—Accordingly, as Jalandhara rushed to war with Viṣṇu: “[...] In the meantime the delighted gods equipped with a vast army (mahābalasamanvita) began to fight with their strength increased by the brilliance of Viṣṇu. Seeing the army of the gods present there ready to fight Jalandhara commanded the invincible Asuras thus. [...]”.
