Source: archive.org: Shiva Purana - English TranslationKrodhasaṃyuta (क्रोधसंयुत) refers to “words endowed with fury”, according to the Śivapurāṇa 2.4.19 (“Gaṇapati’s marriage”).—Accordingly, after Śiva and Pārvatī spoke to Gaṇeśa: “On hearing the words of his parents, Gaṇeśa spoke immediately and furiously (krodhasaṃyuta) but with some restraint”.
The Purana (पुराण, purāṇas) refers to Sanskrit literature preserving ancient India’s vast cultural history, including historical legends, religious ceremonies, various arts and sciences.
