Koṭinilai (கொடிநிலை) [koṭi-nilai] noun < idem. +.

1. (Puṟap.) Theme eulogising the king’s flag as resembling that of Brahmā, Viṣṇu or Śiva; திரிமூர்த்திகளின் கொடிகளுள் ஒன்றனோடு அரசன் கொடி யை உவமித்துப் புகழும் புறத்துறை. [thirimurthigalin kodigalul onranodu arasan kodi yai uvamithup pugazhum purathurai.] (புறப்பொருள்வெண்பாமாலை [purapporulvenpamalai] 9, 39.)
