1. To flee away to a forest; காட்டிற்கு ஓடுதல். காடேறி நாடேறித் திரிவார் கண்டீர் [kattirku oduthal. kaderi naderith thirivar kandir] (தமிழ்நாவலர் சரிதை [thamizhnavalar sarithai] 235).
2. To seemingly disappear, as a disease, just before the death of a person who suffered from it; மரணத்தறுவாயில் நோய்த்தெளிவு உண்டாதல். [maranatharuvayil noythelivu undathal.]
