Source: Google books: Genesis and Development of Tantra (Vajrayana)Kamalarakṣita (कमलरक्षित) is the name of one of the several Vajrācāryas at Vikramaśīla .—In chapter 38 of his Rgya gar chos ’byung (“History of Buddhism in India”), Tāranātha includes several commentators on the Laghuśaṃvara, among ten persons [e.g., Kamalarakṣita] whom he holds to have occupied the office of chief Vajrācārya at Vikramaśīla in rapid unbroken succession, and claims that Jayabhadra was the first of the ten.
Tibetan Buddhism includes schools such as Nyingma, Kadampa, Kagyu and Gelug. Their primary canon of literature is divided in two broad categories: The Kangyur, which consists of Buddha’s words, and the Tengyur, which includes commentaries from various sources.
