In some parts kaḍatā is an excess of 10½ sher per pallā of weight, and kāṇṭā is a surplus of 2½ sher, total 13; which, added to 120, the nominal amount of a pallā, constitute a pakkā pallā. In yet other districts there are other differences of the quantities of both kaḍatā & kāṇṭā.
