Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionaryjumpaṇī (जुंपणी).—f (Verbal of jumpaṇēṃ) Yoking. 2 The rope which connects the yoke with the shaft (of a cart, plough &c.) 3 The cord or strap by which the yoke is secured on the bullock's neck, the throatband or yoke-collar. 4 The bow-form piece of wood attached to the farther end of the loom by which, together with gulaḍā the corresponding bar at the opposite end, to stretch and tighten the warp.
