1) Jigara (जिगर) [Also spelled jigar]:—(nm) the liver; heart; courage; —[kā ṭukaḍā] a son; very dear one; —[ke ṭukaḍe honā] lit. the liver to be torn asunder—to be shattered by a grave shock; —[thāma] [kara baiṭha jānā] to be rent by unbearable agony; to keep in readiness for a shock; —[honā] to have courage, to be courageous.
