A term for a descendant or a connection gen. viewed as unserviceable or unavailable, and as walking in disregardful independence. (Because amongst the Hindus a married daughter is considered as broken off from the parental stock, and her offspring as pertaining solely to her and her husband.) Pr. jā0 karaḍayīcā pēṭā.
