India history and geography
Beta I (A.D. 1000-1052) is the name of a member of the Kākatīya royal dynasty.—At the time of Garuḍāṅka Beta’s accession, the fortunes of the Kākatīyas were at a low eb, as they had lost the Koravi region. Beta, was too young to retrive the fortunes of the family. The Gūḍūr epigraph noted above states that he was helped by Kāmavasāni, the wife of Viriyāla Erra. She took up the cause of young Beta and approached Western Cālukyan Emperor Vikramāditya VI with whose help Beta could be reinstated.
Beta II (A.D. 1076-1106).—The earliest record of Beta II from Anunakoṇḍa is dated A.D. 1079 which mentions his title Śrīman Vikrama cakri Beta māṇḍalikottama. It is also probable that he had started his career sometime before the date of the above epigraph almost simultaneous with his overlord Vikramāditya VI whose accession took place in A.D. 1076.

The history of India traces the identification of countries, villages, towns and other regions of India, as well as mythology, zoology, royal dynasties, rulers, tribes, local festivities and traditions and regional languages. Ancient India enjoyed religious freedom and encourages the path of Dharma, a concept common to Buddhism, Hinduism, and Jainism.
