Source: Shodhganga: A critical appreciation of soddhalas udayasundarikathaGaṅgāguṇādarśa (गङ्गागुणादर्श) of Dattātreya Śāstri relates on the plan of Viśvaguṇādarśa the merits and demerits of the Ganges in a conversation between two Gandharvas, Hāhā and Hūhū and finally the greatness of the river. The author lived in the village of Pangrada in Koṅkaṇa in 1863-1891. In 1891, he was made the principal of the Sanskrit college at Rājpur. He bore the title of Vidyarātna.
