Cōki (சோகி) [cōkittal] 11 intransitive verb < Śōka.

1. To grieve; to be depressed in mind; துக்கப்படு தல். முகமெலாங் கண்ணீர்வாரச் சோகித்தார் [thukkappadu thal. mugamelang kannirvaras sogithar] (கோயிற் புராணம் நடராசு. [koyir puranam nadarasu.] 9).

2. To faint, swoon; மயங்குதல். [mayanguthal.] (W.)
