Chatrāṅgulitā (छत्राङ्गुलिता) or Chatrāṅguli refers to “round fingers” and represents the fourth of the “eighty secondary characteristics” (anuvyañjana) as defined in the Dharma-saṃgraha (section 83). The Dharma-samgraha (Dharmasangraha) is an extensive glossary of Buddhist technical terms in Sanskrit (e.g., chatrāṅgulitā). The work is attributed to Nagarguna who lived around the 2nd century A.D.
