Source: academia.edu: Tessitori Collection IBījorā (बीजोरा) refers to “lemons”, according to the Vyavahārasuddhacaupaī by Samayasundara (dealing with the lives of Jain teachers), which is included in the collection of manuscripts at the ‘Vincenzo Joppi’ library, collected by Luigi Pio Tessitori during his visit to Rajasthan between 1914 and 1919.—Accordingly, “[...] Dhanadatta then associated with other people. they earned, he earned nothing. When they decided to go back to Ayodhyā, he refused to go with them as he had not earned anything. He got convinced by his friends to send his wife at least a basket of lemons (bījorā) who grew in plenty in that place and were cheap. [...]”.
