Ambejogāi (near Mominabad, Bid Dist) is an archaeologically important site situated in Hyderabad, known for inscriptions regarding the ancient history of India. For example, at Ambejogāi there is a Marāṭhī inscription in characters of about the 12th century. It records the gift of a garden land of the value of ten gadyāṇas for the worship, etc., of the god Bhogāditya in the temple of Dāvarasa who was the Paṭṭasāhaṇi of Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Siṅghaṇadeva and son of Mahāpradhāna Daṇḍanāyaka Docharasa.

Another inscription at Ambejogai records the erection of the Rāmanārāyaṇa temple at Brahmapurī by Lakshmī in memory of her brother Rāma who was slain in the course of his expedition against the Gūrjaras. This inscription belongs to king Siṃhaṇa of the  Yādava dynasty and is dated Śaka 1162.
