He has authored 90 songs, which are composed in simple language and form, but deeply mystical. The Siddha under reference personified the inner resident (agam), which may be mind or consciousness, as a female devil and addressed it in all his poems, communicating his rare experiences and mystic insights.
Shaiva (शैव, śaiva) or Shaivism (śaivism) represents a tradition of Hinduism worshiping Shiva as the supreme being. Closely related to Shaktism, Shaiva literature includes a range of scriptures, including Tantras, while the root of this tradition may be traced back to the ancient Vedas.
