Agappey Siddhar is one of the later Siddha, who probably belongs to the 15th century C.E. He has authored 90 songs, which are composed in simple language and form, but deeply mystical. The Siddha under reference personified the inner resident (agam), which may be mind or consciousness, as a female devil and addressed it in all his poems, communicating his rare experiences and mystic insights.
