aḍhāvēḍhā (अढावेढा).—m (aḍhā by redup.) A doubling or curling up; or a crossing or complication (as in cord or cloth); a loop, snarl, tangle. v paḍa. 2 fig. Tangledness (i.e. stoppage or restraint) of tongue. Ex. jivhēlā a0 asalā mhaṇajē murkhāsa barā. 3 pāyāṃlā a0 Intertwining or shuffling of the legs. 4 A perverse objection or suggestion of difficulty. v kara, ghē. Gen. in pl aḍhēvēḍhē q. v.
