Stellar Rows

Gagan Rism

With one pace of mankind
Stars droop down to earth
No matter how they exist above
Acquiesce — gently along hearth

Jewels of light on this night
With no moon in horizon above
By tiny palms and earthen clays
Came resting — dispel the gloom

Aeons ago a m an incarnate
Brought glory to the hum an race
Annihilated heathen powers
Set on knees the crippled man
Once again.

To this day adage goes thus:
For every murk there twinkleth a Sun
If clouds of despair
Conspire and camouflage
With temporal palms pluck
Stars to earth.
