भेदनिर्वचने त्वस्य प्रत्येकं वा समाप्यते ।
श्रुतिर्वचनभिन्ना वा वाक्यभेदेऽवतिष्ठते ॥ ४६६ ॥bhedanirvacane tvasya pratyekaṃ vā samāpyate |
śrutirvacanabhinnā vā vākyabhede'vatiṣṭhate || 466 ||466. When the complex whole is analysed into its parts, the meaning of the sentence is connected with each part. Or the mention of the accessories is split up into many because of the plural suffix in it, results in the splitting up of the sentence.
Commentary
[What is meant is that akṣā bhajyantām, bhujyantām, dīvyantām becomes akṣo bhajyatām, bhujyatām, dīvyatām.]
