महापातकिनश्चैव शेषाश्चाकार्यकारिणः ।
तपसैव सुतप्तेन मुच्यन्ते किल्बिषात् ततः ॥ २३९ ॥mahāpātakinaścaiva śeṣāścākāryakāriṇaḥ |
tapasaiva sutaptena mucyante kilbiṣāt tataḥ || 239 ||Those who have committed heinous offences, as also those who have committed other misdeeds, become freed from their sins by means of austerities well-performed.—(239)
