The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.6.24, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 24 of Antya-khanda chapter 6—“The Glories of Shri Nityananda Prabhu”.

সুকৃতি ব্রাহ্মণ প্রশ্ন কৈল শুভ-ক্ষণে অমাযায প্রভু তত্ত্ব কহিলেন তানে ॥ ২৪ ॥
सुकृति ब्राह्मण प्रश्न कैल शुभ-क्षणे अमायाय प्रभु तत्त्व कहिलेन ताने ॥ २४ ॥
sukṛti brāhmaṇa praśna kaila śubha-kṣaṇe amāyāya prabhu tattva kahilena tāne || 24 ||
sukrti brahmana prasna kaila subha-ksane amayaya prabhu tattva kahilena tane (24)
English translation:
(24) The pious brāhmaṇa had made this inquiry at a proper time, so the Lord explained the truth without reservation.
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
The doubt that the brāhmaṇa developed on seeing Śrī Nityānanda Prabhu’s deviation from proper behavior was actually an indication of his good fortune.
