The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.4.491, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 491 of Antya-khanda chapter 4—“Descriptions of Shri Acyutananda’s Pastimes and the Worship of Shri Madhavendra”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.4.491:

না জানি কে কোন্ দিকে নাচে গায বা’য না জানি কে কোন্ দিকে মহানন্দে ধায ॥ ৪৯১ ॥

ना जानि के कोन् दिके नाचे गाय वा’य ना जानि के कोन् दिके महानन्दे धाय ॥ ४९१ ॥

nā jāni ke kon dike nāce gāya vā’ya nā jāni ke kon dike mahānande dhāya || 491 ||

na jani ke kon dike nace gaya va’ya na jani ke kon dike mahanande dhaya (491)

English translation:

(491) Who can describe the way that the devotees danced, sang, played instruments, and ran about in ecstasy?

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

The word vā’ya means “played instruments.”
