The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.18.229, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 229 of Madhya-khanda chapter 18—“Mahaprabhu’s Dancing as a Gopi”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.18.229:

লোকে বলে,—“কি কারণে আচার্যের ঘরে দুই চক্ষু মেলিতে ফুটিযা যেন পডে?” ॥ ২২৯ ॥

लोके बले,—“कि कारणे आचार्येर घरे दुइ चक्षु मेलिते फुटिया येन पडे?” ॥ २२९ ॥

loke bale,—“ki kāraṇe ācāryera ghare dui cakṣu melite phuṭiyā yena paḍe?” || 229 ||

loke bale,—“ki karane acaryera ghare dui caksu melite phutiya yena pade?” (229)

English translation:

(229) People inquired, “Why do our eyes become blinded when we open them in Ācārya’s house?”
