The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.16.67, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 67 of Madhya-khanda chapter 16—“The Lord’s Acceptance of Shuklambara’s Rice”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.16.67:

তোমা’ দেখি’ কোথা সে পাইবে বিষ্ণু-ভক্তি আর ও সংহারিলে তার চিরন্তন-শক্তি ॥ ৬৭ ॥

तोमा’ देखि’ कोथा से पाइबे विष्णु-भक्ति आर ओ संहारिले तार चिरन्तन-शक्ति ॥ ६७ ॥

tomā’ dekhi’ kothā se pāibe viṣṇu-bhakti āra o saṃhārile tāra cirantana-śakti || 67 ||

toma’ dekhi’ kotha se paibe visnu-bhakti ara o samharile tara cirantana-sakti (67)

English translation:

(67) “He was supposed to achieve devotional service to Viṣṇu by seeing You, but You even destroyed whatever spiritual strength He had.
