The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.12.15, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 15 of Madhya-khanda chapter 12—“The Glories of Nityananda”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.12.15:

আথে-ব্যথে প্রভু নিজ মস্তকের বাস পরাইযা থুইলেন—তথাপিহ হাস ॥ ১৫ ॥

आथे-व्यथे प्रभु निज मस्तकेर वास पराइया थुइलेन—तथापिह हास ॥ १५ ॥

āthe-vyathe prabhu nija mastakera vāsa parāiyā thuilena—tathāpiha hāsa || 15 ||

athe-vyathe prabhu nija mastakera vasa paraiya thuilena—tathapiha hasa (15)

English translation:

(15) The Lord hurriedly took off the cloth from His own head and put it on Nityānanda, who simply laughed.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

Whenever Nityānanda would take off His clothes out of ecstasy, Mahāprabhu covered Nityānanda’s body with the cloth that the Lord tied on His own head. By this action of Mahāprabhu, Nityānanda smiled and expressed His childish nature.
