The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.9.120, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 120 of Madhya-khanda chapter 9—“The Lord’s Twenty-One Hour Ecstasy and Descriptions of Shridhara and Other Devotees’ Characteristics”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.9.120:

শুনিযা মূর্ছিত গঙ্গাদাস গডি’ যায এই-মত কহে প্রভু অতি অমাযায ॥ ১২০ ॥

शुनिया मूर्छित गङ्गादास गडि’ याय एइ-मत कहे प्रभु अति अमायाय ॥ १२० ॥

śuniyā mūrchita gaṅgādāsa gaḍi’ yāya ei-mata kahe prabhu ati amāyāya || 120 ||

suniya murchita gangadasa gadi’ yaya ei-mata kahe prabhu ati amayaya (120)

English translation:

(120) After hearing this, Gaṅgādāsa fell unconscious to the ground. In this way the Lord honestly narrated the activities of His devotees.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

While narrating the previous activities of Gaṅgādāsa Paṇḍita that were unknown to all, the Lord said, “When you felt great danger because of not finding a boat on the bank of the Ganges to escape the harassment of the Yavana king, at that time I assumed the form of a boatman and took you in a boat across the Ganges. No one except you knows about this. But I know.” On hearing this, Gaṅgādāsa rolled on the ground and lost consciousness. The conditioned souls are devoid of the quality of omniscience. Since the Supreme Lord is the controller of māyā, there is nothing unknown to Him or beyond His knowledge.
