The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.8.316, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 316 of Madhya-khanda chapter 8—“The Manifestation of Opulences”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.8.316:

লখিতে না পারে কেহ, হেন মাযা করে ভৃত্য বিনা তাঙ্র তত্ত্ব কে বুঝিতে পারে ॥ ৩১৬ ॥

लखिते ना पारे केह, हेन माया करे भृत्य विना ताङ्र तत्त्व के बुझिते पारे ॥ ३१६ ॥

lakhite nā pāre keha, hena māyā kare bhṛtya vinā tāṅra tattva ke bujhite pāre || 316 ||

lakhite na pare keha, hena maya kare bhrtya vina tanra tattva ke bujhite pare (316)

English translation:

(316) The power of His illusory energy was such that no one could recognize Him. No one other than His servants can understand Him in truth.
