The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.8.247, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 247 of Madhya-khanda chapter 8—“The Manifestation of Opulences”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.8.247:

দেবে হরিলেক বৃষ্টি, জানিহ নিশ্চয ধান্য মরি’ গেল কডি উত্পন্ন না হয ॥ ২৪৭ ॥

देवे हरिलेक वृष्टि, जानिह निश्चय धान्य मरि’ गेल कडि उत्पन्न ना हय ॥ २४७ ॥

deve harileka vṛṣṭi, jāniha niścaya dhānya mari’ gela kaḍi utpanna nā haya || 247 ||

deve harileka vrsti, janiha niscaya dhanya mari’ gela kadi utpanna na haya (247)

English translation:

(247) “Know for certain that because of them, the demigods are not showering rain, the paddy fields have dried up, and no one can make any money.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

“Because of their mischief, the demigods are not supplying sufficient rain to produce food grains, and as a result, the paddy fields have dried up.

Therefore destitution and poverty have overcome the entire country.”
