The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.7.116, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 116 of Madhya-khanda chapter 7—“The Meeting of Gadadhara and Pundarika”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.7.116:

আপনে বুঝিযা চিত্তে এক শুভ দিনে নিজ ইষ্ট-মন্ত্র-দীক্ষা করাহ ইহানে” ॥ ১১৬ ॥

आपने बुझिया चित्ते एक शुभ दिने निज इष्ट-मन्त्र-दीक्षा कराह इहाने” ॥ ११६ ॥

āpane bujhiyā citte eka śubha dine nija iṣṭa-mantra-dīkṣā karāha ihāne” || 116 ||

apane bujhiya citte eka subha dine nija ista-mantra-diksa karaha ihane” (116)

English translation:

(116) “Please select an auspicious day to initiate him in the mantra of your worshipable Lord.”
