The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.1.380, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 380 of Madhya-khanda chapter 1—“The Beginning of the Lord’s Manifestation and His Instructions on Krishna-sankirtana”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.1.380:

এই বোল মহাপ্রভু সবারে কহিযা দিলেন পুঙ্থিতে ডোর অশ্রু-যুক্ত হৈযা ॥ ৩৮০ ॥

एइ बोल महाप्रभु सबारे कहिया दिलेन पुङ्थिते डोर अश्रु-युक्त हैया ॥ ३८० ॥

ei bola mahāprabhu sabāre kahiyā dilena puṅthite ḍora aśru-yukta haiyā || 380 ||

ei bola mahaprabhu sabare kahiya dilena punthite dora asru-yukta haiya (380)

English translation:

(380) After speaking in this way, Mahāprabhu, with tears in His eyes, tied up His books.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

The phrase dilena ḍora indicates that the Lord tied His books with ropes or string.
