The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.1.272, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 272 of Madhya-khanda chapter 1—“The Beginning of the Lord’s Manifestation and His Instructions on Krishna-sankirtana”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.1.272:

গুরু বলে,—“বাপ বিশ্বম্ভর! শুন বাক্য ব্রাহ্মণের অধ্যযন নহে অল্প ভাগ্য ॥ ২৭২ ॥

गुरु बले,—“बाप विश्वम्भर! शुन वाक्य ब्राह्मणेर अध्ययन नहे अल्प भाग्य ॥ २७२ ॥

guru bale,—“bāpa viśvambhara! śuna vākya brāhmaṇera adhyayana nahe alpa bhāgya || 272 ||

guru bale,—“bapa visvambhara! suna vakya brahmanera adhyayana nahe alpa bhagya (272)

English translation:

(272) The Lord’s teacher said, “My dear Viśvambhara, please hear my words. The studying of a brāhmaṇa is not the result of being less fortunate.
