The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.16.299, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 299 of Adi-khanda chapter 16—“The Glories of Shri Haridasa Thakura”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.16.299:

এ সকল রাক্ষস, ব্রাহ্মণ নাম মাত্র এই-সব লোক যম-যাতনার পাত্র ॥ ২৯৯ ॥

ए सकल राक्षस, ब्राह्मण नाम मात्र एइ-सब लोक यम-यातनार पात्र ॥ २९९ ॥

e sakala rākṣasa, brāhmaṇa nāma mātra ei-saba loka yama-yātanāra pātra || 299 ||

e sakala raksasa, brahmana nama matra ei-saba loka yama-yatanara patra (299)

English translation:

(299) They were brāhmaṇas only in name. Actually they were all demons,

fit to be punished by Yamarāja.
