The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.15.57, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 57 of Adi-khanda chapter 15—“Marriage with Shri Vishnupriya”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.15.57:

বিশ্বম্ভর-পণ্ডিতেরে তোমার দুহিতা দান কর’—এ সম্বন্ধ উচিত সর্বথা ॥ ৫৭ ॥

विश्वम्भर-पण्डितेरे तोमार दुहिता दान कर’—ए सम्बन्ध उचित सर्वथा ॥ ५७ ॥

viśvambhara-paṇḍitere tomāra duhitā dāna kara’—e sambandha ucita sarvathā || 57 ||

visvambhara-panditere tomara duhita dana kara’—e sambandha ucita sarvatha (57)

English translation:

(57) “Please give your daughter’s hand in marriage to Viśvambhara Paṇḍita. I feel it is a perfect match.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

The word sambandha means “the marriage proposal,” “the arrangement for marriage (gathering or organizing),” “family members,” or “relatives.”
