The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.12.261, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 261 of Adi-khanda chapter 12—“The Lord’s Wandering Throughout Navadvipa”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.12.261:

কামদেব-উপমা বা দিব, সেহো নয তেঙ্হো চিত্তে জাগিলে, চিত্তের ক্ষোভ হয ॥ ২৬১ ॥

कामदेव-उपमा वा दिब, सेहो नय तेङ्हो चित्ते जागिले, चित्तेर क्षोभ हय ॥ २६१ ॥

kāmadeva-upamā vā diba, seho naya teṅho citte jāgile, cittera kṣobha haya || 261 ||

kamadeva-upama va diba, seho naya tenho citte jagile, cittera ksobha haya (261)

English translation:

(261) Nor can I compare Nimāi with Cupid, because if Cupid appears in one’s heart, that heart becomes agitated.
