The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.12.38, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 38 of Adi-khanda chapter 12—“The Lord’s Wandering Throughout Navadvipa”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.12.38:

কেহ বোলে,—“ব্রাহ্মণের শক্তি অমানুষী কোন মহাপুরুষ বা হয—হেন বাসি ॥ ৩৮ ॥

केह बोले,—“ब्राह्मणेर शक्ति अमानुषी कोन महापुरुष वा हय—हेन वासि ॥ ३८ ॥

keha bole,—“brāhmaṇera śakti amānuṣī kona mahāpuruṣa vā haya—hena vāsi || 38 ||

keha bole,—“brahmanera sakti amanusi kona mahapurusa va haya—hena vasi (38)

English translation:

(38) Another said, “This brāhmaṇa has uncommon potency. I think He must be some great personality.
