The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.12.36, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 36 of Adi-khanda chapter 12—“The Lord’s Wandering Throughout Navadvipa”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.12.36:

সবেই বোলেন, “ভাই, উহানে দেখিযা ফাঙ্কি-জিজ্ঞাসার ভযে যাই পলাইরা” ॥ ৩৬ ॥

सबेइ बोलेन, “भाइ, उहाने देखिया फाङ्कि-जिज्ञासार भये याइ पलाइरा” ॥ ३६ ॥

sabei bolena, “bhāi, uhāne dekhiyā phāṅki-jijñāsāra bhaye yāi palāirā” || 36 ||

sabei bolena, “bhai, uhane dekhiya phanki-jijnasara bhaye yai palaira” (36)

English translation:

(36) They all replied, “Dear brother, anyone who sees Him runs away in fear of facing His challenge.”
