The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.8.144, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 144 of Adi-khanda chapter 8—“The Disappearance of Jagannatha Mishra”.

এতাদৃশ ক্রোধ আরো আছেন ব্যঞ্জিযা তথাপিহ জননীরে না মারিলা গিযা ॥ ১৪৪ ॥
एतादृश क्रोध आरो आछेन व्यञ्जिया तथापिह जननीरे ना मारिला गिया ॥ १४४ ॥
etādṛśa krodha āro āchena vyañjiyā tathāpiha jananīre nā mārilā giyā || 144 ||
etadrsa krodha aro achena vyanjiya tathapiha jananire na marila giya (144)
English translation:
(144) Although the Lord was filled with anger, He would not hit His mother.
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
The word vyañjiyā means “by exhibiting” or “by manifesting.”
