The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.7.40, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 40 of Adi-khanda chapter 7—“Shri Vishvarupa Takes Sannyasa”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.7.40:

“ভোজনে আইস, ভাই, ডাকযে জননী অগ্রজ-বসন ধরি’ চলযে আপনি ॥ ৪০ ॥

“भोजने आइस, भाइ, डाकये जननी अग्रज-वसन धरि’ चलये आपनि ॥ ४० ॥

“bhojane āisa, bhāi, ḍākaye jananī agraja-vasana dhari’ calaye āpani || 40 ||

“bhojane aisa, bhai, dakaye janani agraja-vasana dhari’ calaye apani (40)

English translation:

(40) “My dear brother, please come to eat. Mother is calling You.” Viśvambhara then caught hold of His brother’s dhoti and followed Him home.
