The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.2.200, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 200 of Adi-khanda chapter 2—“The Lord’s Appearance”.

অনন্ত অর্বুদ লোক গঙ্গা-স্নানে যায ‘হরি বোল’ ‘হরি বোল’ বলি’ সবে ধায ॥ ২০০ ॥
अनन्त अर्बुद लोक गङ्गा-स्नाने याय ‘हरि बोल’ ‘हरि बोल’ बलि’ सबे धाय ॥ २०० ॥
ananta arbuda loka gaṅgā-snāne yāya ‘hari bola’ ‘hari bola’ bali’ sabe dhāya || 200 ||
ananta arbuda loka ganga-snane yaya ‘hari bola’ ‘hari bola’ bali’ sabe dhaya (200)
English translation:
(200) Millions of people went to take bath in the Ganges while chanting, “Hari bol! Hari bol!”
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
As a lunar eclipse took place that evening, everyone engaged in chanting the holy names of Hari and bathing in the Ganges as though unknowingly celebrating the appearance of the Lord.
