The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.2.91, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 91 of Adi-khanda chapter 2—“The Lord’s Appearance”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.2.91:

‘মোর প্রভু আসি’ যদি করে অবতার তবে হয এ সকল জীবের উদ্ধার ॥ ৯১ ॥

‘मोर प्रभु आसि’ यदि करे अवतार तबे हय ए सकल जीवेर उद्धार ॥ ९१ ॥

‘mora prabhu āsi’ yadi kare avatāra tabe haya e sakala jīvera uddhāra || 91 ||

‘mora prabhu asi’ yadi kare avatara tabe haya e sakala jivera uddhara (91)

English translation:

(91) “If My Lord descends, then all these fallen souls would be delivered.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

The Absolute Truth is fully cognizant, fully independent, and fully self- satisfied. Therefore, if that compassionate Lord appears before the foolish living entities, they will awaken to their constitutional position and attain liberation from material entanglement. This is how Advaita Prabhu felt.
