The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.1.55, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 55 of Adi-khanda chapter 1—“Summary of Lord Gaura’s Pastimes”.

যন্-নাম শ্রুতম্ অনুকীর্তযেদ্ অকস্মাদ্ আর্তো বা যদি পতিতঃ প্রলম্ভনাদ্ বা হন্ত্য্ অংহঃ সপদি নৃণাম্ অশেষম্ অন্যং কং শেষাদ্ ভগবত আশ্রযেন্ মুমুক্ষুঃ ॥ ৫৫ ॥

यन्-नाम श्रुतम् अनुकीर्तयेद् अकस्माद् आर्तो वा यदि पतितः प्रलम्भनाद् वा हन्त्य् अंहः सपदि नृणाम् अशेषम् अन्यं कं शेषाद् भगवत आश्रयेन् मुमुक्षुः ॥ ५५ ॥

yan-nāma śrutam anukīrtayed akasmād ārto vā yadi patitaḥ pralambhanād vā hanty aṃhaḥ sapadi nṛṇām aśeṣam anyaṃ kaṃ śeṣād bhagavata āśrayen mumukṣuḥ || 55 ||

yan-nama srutam anukirtayed akasmad arto va yadi patitah pralambhanad va hanty amhah sapadi nrnam asesam anyam kam sesad bhagavata asrayen mumuksuh (55)

English translation:

(55) Even if he be distressed or degraded, any person who chants the holy name of the Lord, having heard it from a bona fide spiritual master, is immediately purified. Even if he chants the Lord’s name jokingly or by chance, he and anyone who hears him are freed from all sins.

Therefore how can anyone seeking disentanglement from the material clutches avoid chanting the name of Lord Śeṣa? Of whom else should one take shelter?
