Patebagh (पाटेबाघ) in Nepali refers to the animal Tiger (Panthera tigris, from the Panthera genus and Felidae family). It is is mentioned as one of the “Protected animals of Nepal”.

The word Patebagh can also be transliterated as Pāṭebāgh, Pāṭebāgha or Patebagha.
