Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionaryviṭāḷaśī (विटाळशी) [or सी, sī].—f (viṭāḷa & asā. This therefore is properly an adjective in the feminine gender; for, were strīsamudāya or other masculine noun the subject of the predicate, the termination would be varied, and the word would become viṭāḷasā and, in like manner, with a neuter noun, viṭāḷasēṃ.) A woman having the menses. She is accounted unclean for three days from the commencement of the discharge.
