Vīrācaṉam (வீராசனம்) noun < idem. + āsana.

1. (Yoga Philosophy) Hero-posture, a yōgic posture which consists in placing the right foot on the left thigh and the left foot on the right thigh, one of nine ācaṉam, q.v.; ஆசனம் ஒன்பதனுள் இடது தொடையில் வலது தாளையும் வலது தொடையில் இடது தாளையும் வைத்து உட்காரும் ஆசனபேதம். [asanam onpathanul idathu thodaiyil valathu thalaiyum valathu thodaiyil idathu thalaiyum vaithu udkarum asanapetham.]
