Vīṅkupuḷtōṣam (வீங்குபுள்தோஷம்) [vīṅkupuḷ-tōṣam] noun < வீங்குபுள் [vingupul] +. A disease of children, attributed to the flight of certain birds overhead when they are taken outside the house at dusk, midnight or other inauspicious hour; அந்திநிசி முதலிய அகாலங்களில் சிசுக்களை வீட்டுக்கு வெளி யில் எடுத்துச் செல்லுகையில் சில பறவைகளின் நிழல் படுவதால் உண்டாவதாகக் கருதப்படும் நோய் வகை.
