1. To quiver with rage; கோபத்தாற் படபடத்தல். வெடுவெடுத் தெழுந்தவன் றனாற்றலை யழிக்கவல்லார் [kopathar padapadathal. veduveduth thezhunthavan ranarralai yazhikkavallar] (தேவாரம் [thevaram] 776, 1).
