1. Minor limb or member; சார்புறுப்பு. [sarpuruppu.]
2. A class of writings, supplementary to the Vēdāṅgas, of which four are enumerated, viz. மீமாஞ் சை, நியாயம், புராணம், மிருதி; வேதாங்கங்களுக்கு அங்கமாயுள்ள சாத்திரங்கள். [mimagn sai, niyayam, puranam, miruthi; vethangangalukku angamayulla sathirangal.] (சிவஞானசித்தியார் சுபக்ஷம் [sivagnanasithiyar supagsham] 8, 14, மறைஞா. [maraigna.])
3. Kind of drum; தோற்கருவிவகை. [thorkaruvivagai.] (சிலப்பதிகாரம் அரும்பதவுரை [silappathigaram arumbathavurai] 3, 27, உரை. [urai.])
